Transparency
Hours.gg uses affiliate links to fund the product. The ranking engine remains separate from retailer incentives.
Revenue Model
When you click a retailer link and purchase a product, Tier'd may receive a commission from the store. This helps cover hosting, search infrastructure, image processing, and ongoing product development.
Those links exist after the leaderboard is generated. They do not alter player submissions, verified-playtime evidence, or product ordering.

FAQ
Hours.gg earns revenue through affiliate links. When you click "Check Price" and buy from a retailer, we may receive a small commission.
No. Affiliate data is not part of the ranking model. Eligible verified Steam playtime and declared mains can strengthen rankings under the public methodology.
It still competes normally. A product with no retailer relationship can still lead its category.
Because the methodology is public. You can inspect how rankings are produced, see public pledge totals, and compare the same ladder with or without outbound retailer links.
See the methodology page for how declared mains and eligible verified Steam playtime shape the rankings.
